Remote controlled drones work on the principle of radio waves. These waves are used to send signals to the drones that will guide the lift and direction of the drones. In order for radio waves to work, you must have a transmitter to send radio waves and a receiver to receive messages from the signals. Drones that operate with remote controls have receivers that receive and respond to the signals sent to them by the transmitter. These signals then provide guidance and direction to the drone. In order to avoid a drone receiving signals from a different radio frequency, the drones have a unique identification code to separate each of the signals.

Without these guidelines, civilian drones could pose a great danger to other aircrafts in the sky.
7. How do quadcopter drones work?
Quadcopters are drones that have four different rotors that guide their lift and flight when they are airborne. They have four rotors and four motors that keep them balanced in the air. These four rotors have power evenly distributed to each one of them which increases the stability of the drone. When the rotors start to rotate, they push the air beneath them and the air in turn pushes the drone from the ground upwards. The forward flight is achieved by increasing or decreasing the rotation speed of two of the propellers depending on where you want to move. Delivery drones are drones that are mainly used by companies to deliver goods or objects to customers or to clients in the field. These drones are relatively bigger in size and have a special design and accessory that can hold or grab the object and then transport it to its new destination. Delivery drones come with special containers where an item with limited weight can be place. The drones are then controlled using an FPV that shows you how the drone flies and where it is going to land. These drones are usually not allowed to fly under extreme weather conditions, where there is low visibility or when it is raining. Tests and trials are currently being run by tech companies to allow GPS locations for customers. This will allow drones to be coded with a particular GPS destination and the drone will then be able to deliver the item on its own and then come back to its sender.
